Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift assignment in Topeka, KS. This 13-week contract features 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:00) with every other weekend, offering challenging cardiac ICU duties and a travel opportunity.

You will care for ventilated patients, titrate IV drips, and document using Epic, while coordinating with IV teams, respiratory services, and physical therapy to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at the time of submission.
• Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required.
• Experience with managing vents and cardiac care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to ICU patients, specifically those with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients effectively.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips and titrations.
• Utilize and document patient information through Epic charting.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and physical therapy.
