Job summary

TotalMed RN in New Haven, CT is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care in the ICU and coordinating with the medical team.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and an active RN license with ACLS/BLS certifications. This travel role includes orientation, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications with NIH (or equivalents) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside care in ICU.
• Administer and monitor prescribed medications.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
• Monitor equipment and vital signs; document findings.
• Communicate patient status to families and care team.
• Assist with care planning and patient education.
