Job summary

TotalMed RN in Joplin, MO is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. This travel role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and active ACLS/BLS/TNCC/PALS certifications. Schedule includes 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you will evaluate and monitor ICU patients, administer meds, order and interpret tests, manage equipment, and provide family education. Competitive pay and benefits available for travel nurses.

Qualifications

• ACL S, BLS, TNCC, PALS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside ICU care and monitor patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications and document responses.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Monitor equipment, interpret displays, and ensure proper line/tube placement.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and coordinate with care teams.
