Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Freeport, IL. The ICU RN will provide critical care, monitor patients, operate life-support equipment, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should have at least one year of ICU experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Travel perks include competitive pay, benefits from day one, licensure reimbursement, and 36-hour weeks on a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• One year of ICU RN experience or greater.
• Active RN license in Illinois or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to status changes
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocols
• Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately and timely
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and CVP
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care
