Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU – Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. This ICU/CCU RN will provide expert care for adult patients with life-threatening conditions, manage ventilators and complex therapies, and support families during critical events.

Starting 11/29/2026 for a 13-week assignment at 48 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education.
• Ensure life support equipment functioning (ventilators, tubes).
• Observe heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
