Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Key West, Florida. This 13-week assignment requires a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour nights, travel nursing benefits, and a focus on high-acuity patient care.
The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a nursing degree, BLS & ACLS, and at least 18 months of recent ICU experience. Our client facility may have additional requirements, and you will receive weekly pay and housing options.
Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
- Client facility requirements may apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and family education and support.
- Ensure proper functioning of life-support equipment (ventilators, feeds).
- Monitor vital signs and assess for distress.
- Administer medications, IVs, and catheterize as needed.
- Meticulous medication administration documentation.
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly control condition changes.
- Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
