Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in the ICU for a 13-week assignment in West Burlington, Iowa. The role requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts and travel status.

Candidates must hold an active RN license, have a degree from an accredited nursing program, and possess BLS and ACLS certification along with 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience. Additional client-specific requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of critical care equipment.
• Monitor vital signs and assess for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
