Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Flowood, MS. The ICU RN will provide comprehensive critical care, monitor and treat critically ill patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity ICU setting.

Requirements include one year of ICU RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certification. Travel benefits and support are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per ICU protocols.
• Operate advanced life support equipment.
• Document assessments and interventions timely in the medical record.
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and CVP.
• Educate patients and families about ICU care and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
