Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specialized in ICU to join our team in Flowood, Mississippi. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with nights, 12-hour shifts, and a 36-hour workweek.

Qualifications include an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS & ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of ICU experience. Travel benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience required.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education and support.
• Ensure proper functioning of life-support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress signs.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
