Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for ICU (Intensive Care Unit) in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and nights shifts. Active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS, and 18 months ICU experience are required.

Qualifications

Active RN License
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS Certification
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and education to patients and families
Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress
Administer medications, IVs, and catheter care as needed
Meticulous documentation of medication administration
Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition
Perform CPR accurately and effectively
