Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Critical Care Float in Saint Louis, Missouri. This ICU-focused travel role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and ICU experience for an 18-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights.

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS & ACLS certification.
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
Ensure proper functioning of life-support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
Administer medications and insert IVs/catheters as needed.
Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
