Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Grinnell, IA. The ICU RN will deliver comprehensive critical care in a high-acuity unit, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Start date 10/12/2026 and requirements include 1 year ICU experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel role with 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with critical care nursing techniques
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Record significant conditions, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Communicate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
