Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse to work in Mount Clemens, Michigan. The position is travel-oriented, 13 weeks long, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

The ICU RN will provide direct patient care in high-acuity settings, requiring ACLS, BLS, NIH and 3 years of experience. Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• ICU RN with 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• 3 years of experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care.
• Assess and implement patient care plans and delegate tasks as needed.
• Educate and support patient families, including long-term care planning if required.
• Perform tasks such as administering meds and ordering tests.
