Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an ICU RN for a travel assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. The position requires an active RN license, an accredited nursing degree, BLS/ACLS certification, and at least 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, rotating nights. Travel RN duties include managing life support systems, patient care, and timely documentation, with competitive weekly pay and housing options.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure life support equipment functions properly (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for rapid changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
