TotalMed RN is seeking a travel ICU RN for Aberdeen, SD. 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour rotating shift. Travel employment with ACLS/BLS/NIH and 1–2 years of acute care experience is required.

The ICU nurse will evaluate and monitor patients, provide life-saving care, document procedures, and support families. Responsibilities include medication administration, diagnostic testing, and patient safety during shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• 2 years acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret readings.
• Place and ensure proper functioning of catheters and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members.
