Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Jamestown, North Dakota. The assignment is a 13-week travel role with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour rotating shift.

The ICU RN will provide direct patient care, monitor and document patient status, administer meds, and educate families while coordinating with the care team. BLS and ACLS are required, with 1–2 years of ICU experience expected.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care ICU experience.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and rotate.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care in the ICU.
• Administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests; interpret results.
• Monitor equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Communicate patient conditions to families; support care planning.
