Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Redding, California. The ICU RN will evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU, document and provide physician-directed care, and assist families as needed.

Requirements include 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and additional certifications may be required before starting. This is a travel position with 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ICU experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Document and provide physician-directed care, assess and implement patient care plans.
• Delegate to other care providers as appropriate.
• Educate and support patient families, possibly for long-term care needs.
