American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for ICU in Kearney, Nebraska. The role requires NE or compact RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and 2+ years ICU experience. The contract runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

Expect Epic charting, potential floating to PCU/MedSurg, and required orientations plus two holiday shifts. A comprehensive benefits package is offered by American Traveler.

Qualifications

• Active NE or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of two years ICU experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Driver's license to verify residence outside 50-mile radius.
• Must pass a skills exam during orientation.
• Two professional references (supervisor and peer) within past 12 months/3 years.
• Cannot have worked directly for CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity in past year.
• ICU nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2-3.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 33-bed adult ICU within an acute care hospital.
• Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips.
• Read, interpret, and document telemetry strips using GE monitors.
• Travelers may float to PCU and MedSurg units with appropriate ratios.
• Unit uses Epic for charting.
