Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks a Travel ICU RN for a community hospital ICU, an 8-bed open unit delivering specialized critical care. You will manage ventilated patients, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, sepsis, stroke/TPA, and respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role offers self-scheduling options, every other weekend off, and optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Active NH nursing license (RN) required.
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• CCRN and AIBP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in an 8-bed open ICU, ventilator management and advanced monitoring.
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Uphold patient safety through effective communication and patient-centered care.

Job description

Role:

Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in a community hospital setting, providing specialized care in an 8-bed open ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality patient care, manage ventilator care, therapeutic hypothermia, PCI/STEMI procedures, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE/cardioversion, temp pacing, sepsis management, stroke/TPA, and DKA cases. Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response calls. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes and uphold patient safety through communication and patient-centered initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid nursing license for New Hampshire
• Minimum of 3 years ICU experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Preferred: CCRN certification and AIBP experience
