Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts in California, requiring a CA RN license and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU unit of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Responsibilities include direct patient care, education, and coordination of transitions of care within the ICU
• Care is delivered holistically to patients and includes collaboration with families, physicians, and healthcare teams
• Must adhere to a 50 mile radius rule for eligibility
• Return staff policy requires a minimum one-year break before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday requested off (RTO) will be approved during the contract
• Availability to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing required
• Dress code and additional orientation details provided upon acceptance
