Job Summary

The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care at a healthcare facility. This position involves providing acute patient care in a high-acuity environment, with a focus on medical and neuro critical care. The role requires flexibility to float between multiple ICU units, and the schedule is for night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid healthcare professional license, Certifications in National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) all through the American Heart Association. At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 ICU or 2 years in an ICU setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting, neuro critical care experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The ICU is a 32-bed unit licensed for high-acuity patients including those requiring Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) or Continuous Venovenous Hemodiafiltration (CVVH). The team handles complex cases such as sepsis, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), post-cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure. Candidates should have a strong background in ICU nursing with excellent clinical skills; recent new graduates with limited ICU experience may not be suitable. The assignment is from 10/12/2026 to 01/09/2027.
