Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel RN for ICU in Crescent City, California. This 13-week assignment features 36 hours weekly, nights, with support for adult, pediatric and geriatric patients in a high-acuity ICU.

You will provide advanced care, follow all protocols, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while floating to ER or Med/Surg as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid California State RN license with Nursys verified within the past two weeks.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA/ARC).
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4-5.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
• Experience with arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilated patients, and central lines.
• Infection prevention certification and arterial blood gas/dysrhythmia interpretation.

The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU (Intensive Care Unit) specialization at a healthcare facility. The position requires providing high-level care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. The role involves managing complex patient conditions, performing advanced clinical procedures, and adhering to all institutional protocols.

Schedule

Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid California State Registered Nurse (RN) license with Nursys verification uploaded within the past two weeks
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4-5
• familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
• experience in managing arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilated patients, and central lines
• certified in infection prevention and able to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in trauma Level I or Level II units, and familiarity with ischemic stroke protocols

Additional Information

Candidate must be comfortable with float rotations to Emergency Room (ER) or Medical/Surgical units as needed; must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing; must provide two recent references; all compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
