Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located on the 3rd floor of a healthcare facility in Fort Smith, AR. The role involves providing specialized care to patients with complex medical needs in a mixed unit that includes neuro, surgical, and medical patients. The position offers a night shift schedule with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and concluding on 01/11/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: AR nursing license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, minimum of 2+ years of ICU experience, willingness to pass medication and math competency exam with a passing grade of 90% (may be retaken once)
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN or SCRN certification, experience with open-heart recovery, CRRT, vent management, and hemodynamics
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 38 beds with patient ratios of 2-3:1
  • Equipment included: CRRT (bonus), vents, hemodynamic monitoring
  • All licensed co-workers must pass a medication and math competency exam prior to administering medications
  • Dress code: Scrubs, black; no hoodies
  • Personality fit: Team-oriented, friendly individuals needed
  • This is a replacement position for permanent staff.
