Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurses are sought for a position in a large, busy healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care, including managing complex conditions such as heart transplants, lung transplants, LVAD patients, and valve surgeries. Candidates must be adaptable to floating and flexible scheduling to meet the unit's needs.

Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse
• Location: TBD (Healthcare facility)
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with shifts scheduled based on unit needs
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS, BLS certifications; NIHSS certification; minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; licensed to practice in the state; experience in managing complex cardiac patients and titrating vasoactive drips; previous travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with LVAD, CRRT/SLED, Impella, IABP devices; familiarity with EPIC charting system; ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Additional Job Details: Candidates must be open to floating, with first assignment to float depending on competency. Unit manages high-acuity patients with equipment such as vents, Cpap, BiPap, and telemedicine. Experience in a high-volume hospital environment and ability to work in a fast-paced setting is essential.
