Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN Float Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona, starting 11/16/2026. This ICU‑focused float role requires 2+ years of ICU experience and includes 36 hours weekly, with 12‑hour night shifts in a trauma center setting.

You will rotate among Neuro, cardiothoracic and medical/surgical ICU units, handle critical drips, vent support and telemetry, complete bedside reports, and complete required skills labs during orientation.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience and a current license.
• Must pass an advanced dysrhythmia exam within two attempts (80% passing score).
• Familiarity with trauma center and telemetry systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU care across Neuro, cardiothoracic, and medical/surgical/trauma units.
• Manage critical drips, telemonitors, and ventilator equipment.
• Complete bedside reports and orientation shifts; float as needed.
