Cross Country Nurses in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a 13-week assignment. You will float across ICU and IMCU units, providing high-quality patient care in a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Trauma Level 2 facility.

The position requires a Florida license or compact, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and ICU experience. Orientation on Mondays and EPIC training are part of the onboarding process; travel experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Florida license or compact license (or eligible)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
• ICU experience: 2+ years
• Orientation sessions held every Monday
• EPIC training during orientation

Responsibilities

• Float between ICU and IMCU units delivering care
• Provide high-quality patient care across units
• Adhere to schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Complete orientation and testing processes as required
• No travel-related scheduling constraints beyond assignment
