Job summary

GHR Travel Nursing seeks a skilled Hospital Pharmacist specializing in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine for a 13-week travel contract in Fort Worth, TX. You will support high-acuity patient care in the ED and ICU, participate in codes and rapid-response events, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements include TX licensure, BCCCP or BCEMP cert, PGY2 in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine (or equivalent ICU/ED experience), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Pharmacist license with no restrictions.
• Board certification in critical care or emergency medicine preferred.
• PGY2 in CC or EM or substantial ICU/ED clinical experience.
• Experience in codes, traumas, and high-acuity events.
• Proficiency with EPIC and medication verification workflows.

Responsibilities

• Attend codes and traumatic arrests; document participation.
• Support rapid sequence intubations with necessary meds.
• Participate in code stroke and prepare fibrinolytics when indicated.
• Contribute to code sepsis response and antibiotic therapy decisions.
• Provide STAT clinical pharmacy services in ED/ICU.
• Monitor EPIC verification queue and clinical interventions.
• Perform drug utilization reviews and assess interactions.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and dosing monitoring.
• Serve as a pharmacy resource for care teams.
