Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Hospice for a travel assignment in Moab, Utah. The role covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour days, and travel compensation.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS, and at least 18 months of acute care hospice experience. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN License

• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Hospice setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess a patient's situation and detect changes in symptoms, health or pain.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs and changes in health.
• Remain sympathetic to patient needs during stages of pain, trauma and tragedy.
• Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase.
• Help relatives cope with loss and provide post-mortem support.
