Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Marietta, GA. The High-Risk OB ultrasound tech will perform obstetric and gynecologic imaging, ensuring high-quality results while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program completion, 1+ year of high-risk OB experience, a current BLS, and an active ultrasound license per state regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice.
