Job summary

Driveline is seeking a highly motivated Retail Operations Manager to lead a team of 100+ hourly merchandising associates across 200+ retail locations. The role requires frequent travel to stores, engaging with employees and client personnel to execute merchandising initiatives and audits.

You will recruit, train, and mentor staff, ensure on-time project delivery, and meet client expectations and financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or a related field preferred or equivalent supervisory/management experience.
• 1–2 years of retail or field operations experience.
• Firm understanding of Retail and/or Retail Merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, manage and mentor hourly employees within a market area.
• Maintain 95%+ on-time execution rate for projects.
• Foster relationships with retailers and client personnel.
• Communicate with employees consistently.
• Provide timely follow-ups to the team and management.
• Plan staffing to meet client project requirements.
• Manage district costs including drivetime and overtime.
• Control merchandising expenses like overtime and travel costs.
• Adapt staffing to handle business spikes and travel.
