Job summary

ENTACT is seeking a Field Engineer to support environmental remediation and geotechnical construction projects across the United States. The role requires frequent travel (80%+), collaboration with management and safety teams, and accurate reporting to keep projects on schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering-related degree, strong office software skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced field environment. Per diem and paid trips home are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site procurement activities including material requisitions and tracking deliveries.
• Process project documentation: daily/weekly reports, RFIs, submittals, change orders.
• Support Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop construction figures from engineering sketches and field measurements using AutoCAD.
• Oversee subcontractor billings and monitor project budgets.
• Ensure all activities comply with design drawings and project specs.
• Conduct topographic surveys to calculate earthwork volumes and assess site drainage.
• Issue purchase orders and subcontracts and track time/expenses.
