Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or the ability to acquire all endorsements.
• Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service and perform minor repairs on gas and diesel heavy equipment such as scrapers, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, wheel loaders, water and lube trucks, and other support equipment.
• Check and fill fluid levels, service lube points, and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Maintain service, repair, and maintenance records.
• Prepare work order and order parts as needed.
• Complete daily work assignments in a timely fashion.
• Perform tasks from verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisor and fellow employees.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Weekend and night work may occasionally be required.
• Travel will be required
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Works overtime and weekends as needed
