Job summary

Enterprise Engineering Services supports the FAA's William J. Hughes Technical Center with real-time air traffic management system deployment. This 18-month role involves developing deployment documentation, configuring specs, and testing hardware at FAA sites while traveling on a weekly rotation.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with a BS in CS/engineering/math and 2–10 years of related experience, plus ability to lift 30 lbs and use power tools.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and permanent residency.
• Bachelor's degree (in computer science, engineering, or mathematics) + 2-10 yrs. related experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
• Experience using power tools.
• Experience troubleshooting installation/boot-up issues.
• Knowledge/experience with hardware refreshes/deployments in a government environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Time management, priority allocation and task management skills.
• Ability to interact with customers and team members.
• Able to work in a time-sensitive environment installing hardware on mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop deployment support documentation for customers.
• Work with management to develop deployment specifications and configurations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner.
• Act as customer contact for deployment related inquiries and issues.
• Install and test hardware at FAA customer sites.
• Create technical artifacts needed for deployments at FAA customer sites.
• Troubleshoot malfunction occurrences during hardware installations.
