Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel nurse RN GI Lab for a travel nursing job in Modesto, California. The Endoscopy RN will provide nursing care in an Endo environment, supporting the physicians and medical team in providing top-level care before, during and after the patients' procedures.

Travel Nurses should have expertise in Endoscopy with an understanding in physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Endoscopy procedures knowledge and patient care.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit, supporting the physicians and medical team.
• Assist during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures with safe practice.
• Maintain endoscopes and decontamination records and traceability.
• Keep the clinical area safe and clean per regulations.
