Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for a 13-week acute care assignment in Illinois. The role requires strong airway management and IV skills in a high-volume GI setting. Expect 4x9-hour days (7am-4:30pm), no weekends, and no call duties.

Start date is Sep 28, 2026, with 1 opening. Case load includes EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP, and GI bleed management, serving both in- and out-patient populations.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Proficient in IV skills, post-anesthesia care, airway management, procedural sedation, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Strong advanced airway management skills required.
• Must produce a negative drug screen as facility is a Drug-Free Campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre/post procedural care for GI/Endoscopy patients including advanced airway and IV management.
• Unit-specific pre/post orientation provided.
• Follow 7am-4:30pm shift with 4x9 hours, no weekends.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
