Requirements:
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Required Skills include:
- Acute Care, LTAC, LTC experience
- Assist with ambulation, feeding, turning, and repositioning
- Provide bed baths, change linens, decubitus care prevention, foot care, incontinence/elimination care, mouth and perineal care, shaving, shower assistance, skin care, and use of antiembolic stockings
- Operate bed alarms, bedpans, bedside commodes, call lights, Hoyer lifts, oxygen tanks, pulse oximeters, and cleaning of equipment
- Don and remove PPE, follow isolation precautions
- Measure and record vital signs and outputs, including blood pressure, respirations, pulse, temperature, and drain outputs
- Perform routine catheter care, specimen collection, and safe patient transfers
- Assist with bathing, hygiene, diet intake, and report patient condition changes
- Recognize cardiac arrest and perform passive range of motion exercises
- Ensure proper body mechanics during lifting and pulling, and adhere to limb restrictions and NPO status
- Provide patient care according to established protocols
Job Details:
- Pay: $23.10 per hour
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks
- Shift: 4, 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience required
