Job summary

GLOBAL MEDICAL STAFFING seeks a locum General Surgeon for a travel assignment in Kodiak, Alaska. This role involves 24-hour beeper call coverage with call-only hours and no guaranteed shift hours. Expect 4–5 patients per shift and work requiring general and laparoscopic surgery skills.

Hernioplasty is required; OB/GYN surgery is preferred. Hospital is stroke-certified and requires ATLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications. Pre-paid travel and housing and malpractice coverage are provided.

Qualifications

• 24-hour beeper call coverage — call only, no guaranteed hours.
