Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Savannah, GA. The candidate must complete an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, hold ARDMS and ARRT certifications, and possess a valid state ultrasound license.

The role includes performing general and vascular studies, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of ultrasound equipment while maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Valid ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS) and ARRT certification in sonography.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations of general and vascular studies.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot all ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
