Job summary

FMX is seeking a Facilities Specialist to help customers optimize their facilities and maintenance operations. You will be a subject-matter expert in asset management, capital planning, and facility operations, traveling weekly to client sites across the country.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or related roles.
• Willingness to travel weekly across the country.
• Ability to assess customer needs and scope projects clearly.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and prospects to understand and document business needs.
• Travel weekly to customer sites across the country for multi-day on-site work.
• Propose new features and articulate business value and ROI for FMX’s product.
• Prepare assessments and recommendations to improve facilities and maintenance operations.
• Conduct walk-through surveys of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems to identify deficiencies.
• Interview property owners, occupants, and site personnel to gather information on conditions.
• Review reports and logs to determine building condition and necessary improvements.
• Document facility and asset information with photos and data; estimate remediation costs.
• Assist customers with cost justifications, equipment selection, and other consultative work.
