Integrated Health 21 is seeking a Flu Nurse - PRN to travel to corporate wellness events and vaccination clinics, administer vaccines, educate participants on potential reactions, and follow safety protocols.

The role requires maintaining an active nursing license and BLS certification, strong communication with clients, and willingness to travel between sites. This contract-based position offers flexible hours and opportunities to support public health efforts.

Qualifications

• Maintain and present current nursing license in good standing.
• Maintain and present current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate professionalism and ability to communicate effectively with corporate clients.
• Willingness to travel from site to site as needed.
• Prior experience in private clinics or public health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accept delivered packages and ensure inventory is accounted for.
• Practice appropriate storage and handling of vaccines; document refrigeration details.
• Greet participant and provide instructions to complete the vaccination process.
• Follow standing orders to determine eligibility, draw up, and administer vaccine; observe for adverse reaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols as set by medical directives and regulations.
• Respond and assist to medical emergency situations; assist participant to the floor and provide medical care up to CPR.
• Initiate contact with emergency response personnel as needed.
• Participate in yearly training to ensure up to date knowledge of vaccination.
• Participate in compliance testing each year to maintain active employment status.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication.
