Job summary

ProAutomated Inc is seeking individuals who enjoy travel and hands-on field work. You’ll support data center startups, perform on-site checks, and lead testing across manufacturing and warehouse systems.

A technical background in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering with 3+ years of hands-on experience is preferred. This role requires frequent travel, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and reside within reach of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test and troubleshoot on-site.
• Provide clear communications to customers and project teams to keep progress on track.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on/2 off, 10 on/4 off, or 14 on/7 off schedules.
