Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician in the Southeast US to install, program, start-up, and commission state-of-the-art fire alarm equipment across multi-state areas including Orlando, Charlotte and Atlanta. Travel up to 75% is required to support customers and project timelines.

You will assist with training on system operations, prepare as-built drawings, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in installation and/or maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Must differentiate wire types/colors and use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, tablet; lift up to 75 pounds.
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level I required within 12 months.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, and commission fire alarm equipment and systems.
• Train customers on system operations and provide necessary documentation.
• Coordinate site communications and schedule trade contractors for start-up services.
