Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel nationwide, visiting customer sites for installation, commissioning, and service of CNC machinery and automation systems. The role requires 90-100% travel and the candidate must reside within 50 miles of a major airport.

Compensation is $30.00–$40.00 per hour with overtime, comprehensive benefits, and potential for growth. OSHA/MIOSHA safety practices are a must, and documentation of all service activities is required.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to document technical data clearly and accurately.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues using measured data.

Responsibilities

• Support service at customer sites and with sales staff.
• Install new equipment at customer sites.
• Document service performed and future needs.
• Maintain safety and OSHA/MIOSHA compliance.
• Prepare timesheets, reports, and expense records.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
