Wanzek Construction, Inc. seeks a field equipment technician to manage fleet maintenance and repairs at job sites across Texas. The role requires domestic travel to projects and collaboration with shop staff to plan work.

You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, update maintenance records, and ensure safety compliance while keeping equipment logs current. This is a travel-heavy field position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate in Diesel or Automotive Technology.
• Two+ years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance.
• Certifications in electrical, A/C, welding, or OEM systems.
• Ability to drive a 1-ton rig on site and between projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead fleet maintenance and inspections at job sites.
• Perform field and shop repairs; determine repair location.
• Travel to jobsites for repairs and maintenance reviews.
• Onsite field repairs and troubleshooting as needed.
• Update equipment locator and inventory records.
• Develop and maintain an equipment maintenance database.
• Document work orders and safety checks accurately.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and safety.
