Job summary

TEiC Services is seeking Field Engineers for a 100% traveling role across the United States, with the option to work from a home office when not on a project. You will support industrial construction projects including piping, mechanical systems, and plant facilities, collaborating with superintendents, engineers, and planners to ensure safe, efficient execution.

Qualifications

• 1+ year field engineering or related experience in industrial construction.
• Experience with piping, mechanical equipment, structural steel, or plant construction.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, P&IDs, piping isometrics.
• Familiar with project controls and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field engineering support for industrial construction activities.
• Develop and manage detailed construction work packages for field execution.
• Support installation of piping, valves, pumps, and process equipment.
• Coordinate weekly work plans and assist with look‑ahead scheduling.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure up-to-date information for crews.
• Manage RFIs, field clarifications, and technical issues.
• Perform field walkdowns to verify progress and quality.
• Track quantities, productivity, and earned value metrics.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
• Support quality inspections and turnover documentation.
• Participate in JHAs and safe work planning.
