Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Kingwood, Texas. This travel assignment is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts, targeting Registered Nurse experience in ED.

Requirements include an active RN license and a nursing degree, with 18 months ER experience. Credentialing support and housing options are provided by MedPro Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide care in the Emergency Room for patients with life-threatening conditions
