MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Newton, Iowa. The assignment starts 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has an accredited nursing degree, and 18+ months of ER acute-care experience. BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC may be required depending on the facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, intervene and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
• Provide emergency care and recognize life-threatening conditions.
