Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel ED Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. This nights-shift role supports the Emergency Services department with staffing, patient flow, and high-quality care.

Renewals and ongoing opportunities accompany competitive compensation. Requires ED experience and active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Compensation is paid weekly with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting, ED setting required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts. Ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness. Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
