Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks a Travel ED Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will support the Emergency Services department on Nights, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient ED operations.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS on hire, and at least one year of ED experience in an acute care setting. Pay ranges per shift from $672 to $768, with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees ED operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts; ensures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and patient assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and supports staff development.
• Assists with performance management and HR-related activities.
• Monitors supplies, equipment, and unit readiness; coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Addresses patient care concerns and escalates issues as needed.
• Rounds with patients and families to support a positive experience.
• Provides direct patient care when needed to maintain safe staffing levels.
