Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in El Paso, TX. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and a 12-hour night shift, 48 hours per week, in a travel capacity.

The RN will evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions in a fast-paced ER environment, perform bedside care, wound care, IV therapy, and maintain medical supplies. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH, PALS, TNCC, with 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH, PALS, TNCC certifications required or pending; 2+ years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Document medical history and allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Provide bedside care, wound care, IV therapy and maintain supplies and equipment.
